Lena asks how I made the grass and flowers in my square. They are knitted in. First, you need to get hold of a copy of Barbara Walker's Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns. Then you just collect some scrap yarns and follow the instructions for the appropriate patterns. :) I believe this book is available from Meg Swansen at Schoolhouse Press.
